5 Tips to Crush your Content!

As a busy working mom, I work best with consuming and learning the most information in the shortest amount of time. With that said, my promise to you is to provide you as much knowledge as I can in each blog post, in the shortest amount of time possible! I value your time and my time, and I know how limited it is! Especially with the children running around, distracting us, asking for this or that every 30 seconds! So lets dive in and get productive!

This week I went LIVE in the Mompreneur Life Facebook Group and shared “5 Tips to Crush your (Social Media) Content”! With social media booming these days and the algorithms constantly changing, it can be difficult to “grow” your following, increase your engagement, and build a profitable business. And by the time you “figure it all out” it all changes!

The one thing that remains constant in the world of online marketing and business building is CONTENT! Planning content, creating content, and sharing content! It is all very important in order to grow your business. If you educate your audience with valuable information relevant to their business and life, then you will, in result, build an incoming producing business.

My 5 tips for crushing your content on social media are:

1.Use a content calendar

2.Incorporate a “CALL TO ACTION” or CTA in your social media posts

3.Go LIVE! And Go LIVE consistently!

4.Utilize Curiosity and Lifestyle posts

5.Create a system of “themed days”

My first tip, use a content calendar, is key in being prepared and relevant in your business. It is important to know what information you want to share and when. This could be something as simple as printing out a blank calendar from google and filling it in daily or weekly with your content topics, post ideas, and locations of your posts (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) Once you become accustomed to this content creation you can begin to utilize the apps and websites out there that will actually post your content for you. You can check out Later or Tailwind which are 2 of the most popular schedule posting apps available if you are ready!

The second tip is to incorporate a Call to Action in all of your social media posts. This will take your content to the next level. Incorporating a CTA will allow your audience an opportunity to engage with you, build a relationship with you, and potentially share your posts with their audience. Your goal beyond educating your audience is to build a relationship with them that will make them want to work with you, join your team, and/or buy from you! Using CTA’s also increases your engagement rate which increases your visibility on social media! More visibilty = an increase in business!

My third tip is to GO LIVE! Go live on Facebook or Instagram and do it consistently! Show up each and every week and pour into your audience. Educate them on what you know and they will continue to keep showing up to learn from you and grow with you. Don’t forget your Call to Action in your LIVE :)

My fourth tip to crush your content is to use “curiosity posts” and “Lifestyle posts” when posting on Facebook and Instagram. A curiosity post will pique your audience's interest without giving away too much information. It will have them wanting to know more and opens up the opportunity to get to know them and have a conversation with them. “Lifestyle posts” are posts that share what your company or business has done for your life. You want to share the benefits of doing what you are doing to draw your audience in and to want to know more details!ing.

My final tip to crush your social media content and ultimately create more engagement is to create “theme days” in your posts. These posts create consistency in your content and also include calls to action. Some examples of themed days are “Mindset Monday”, “Monday Motivation”, “Topic Tuesday”, “Talk to me Tuesday”, “Winning Wednesday” and there are so many more! Be creative! Find topics that directly relate to your niche and get started on creating that content and engagement!
